Workshops

Didcot Writers run regular workshops with guest tutors and facilitators, and collaborate with Oxford University Continuing Education, Cornerstone Arts Centre and other organisations to run other workshops. You can read about our past workshops here.

We welcome ideas for new workshops and tutors, to make a suggestion please get in touch.

All events are suitable for beginners and those with a work in progress to develop.

Didcot Writers is a group of adults, but in some circumstances it might be appropriate for teenagers 16+ to attend our workshops. If this applies to you please get in touch in advance so that we can ask the workshop leader before the event.

Cancellations and refunds

Please note, Didcot Writers is a not-for-profit community-run organisation. These workshops are run at a low cost thanks to the work of our volunteers, and all ticket money goes towards paying for tutors, room hire, refreshments on the night, and other expenses incurred.

If you need to cancel your place please let us know with as much notice as possible - if we can resell your place we will give you a full refund. If we cannot resell your place then we will not be able to offer a refund.
